DescriptionJoshua Fireseed breaks into the swamp to deal with a beasty when he and his family and friends wind up a bit off course. Fabian Nicieza and Rafael Kayanan did a great job on this version of Turok in the early 90s. They told his stories in a series of quarterly issues before launching a short-lived regular series.I thought Kayanan did a great job mixing up styles from his Conan and Firestorm work to produce a fun action book. Between the two pages from this issue, one from another of the Quarterlies, and a couple of promo pieces, I've got a Joshua Fireseed mini-collection. Bought this piece in fall 2023 from Albert Moy, who provided his typical great service. Social/Sharing |

The design of the top panel is beautiful with the many swirls and thick ink ripples.
