DescriptionHey, Hey, Hey!OK... this is the last one I have to add. I bought it only last week on eBay. I wasn't looking but for some reason it found me and I have fond memories of this cartoon in the days long before Cosby got cancelled. This is a multilayer set up of almost the entire gang. Quick, without reference, can you name anyone other than Fat Albert? I had long forgotten any of their names. Scroll down to see the names. More trivia, the show ran from 1972 to 1985 and there are 110 regular episodes plus 5 specials. They were called the Junkyard gang. Fat Albert had a last name. Robertson. (voiced by Bill) James "Mushmouth" Mush who spoke in gibberish who wears the red hat and blue scarf (voiced by Bill) "Dumb" Donald Parker who is missing from the pack, he is the one with pink hat that covers his face and might be my favorite of the Junkyard gang. William "Bill" Cosby - voice by Bill and based on himself in his youth. In the white shirt here. Russell Cosby - Bill's younger brother and the smallest of the gang. "Old Weird" Harold Simmons - the tallest of the bunch who wore the blazer. Rudy Davis who was a sharp dresser and wore the orange flat cap. Bucky Miller with the buck teeth who I believe is in the yellow shirt in this cel. Backgrounds created by my friend Mark for presentations purposes. If you have cels you want this done for, ask me and I'll hook you up! Social/Sharing |

Oh we all grew up with America's Dad from Saturday Mornings to Must See TV. People probably looked the other way for a long time because he was famous. I think you're missing the one with the shell "Dumb Donald". Of course, we now have someone who has taken up that moniker that hasn't been cancelled.

Love it. Cosby meant everything to me. I have one of the cells as well that I got a long time ago, like early eBay years, of The Brown Hornet. I also have a Fat Albert doll buried somewhere I got around the same time.

Wow, if you had to get a Fat Albert cel, this is about as perfect an example as you can get. The only thing missing is that most recognizable of all Albert's friends, the guy that always looked like he had a giant clam on his head!
