Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader/Ninja High School Mashup #1

As I post this it’s been a few days since Owlcat released its Rogue Trader CRPG, and that’s finally inspired me to post the 40K Rogue Trader commissions I had done back when I ran the tabletop RPGs by Fantasy Flight Games.

In the is piece we have Mimi Masters as an Imperial Guardsman (get out of here with that Astra Militarum junk, you young punks) and a Tau (again, young punks, no T’au around here) Gue’vesa. Ben actually went a different route with regards to the hairstyle for the Gue’vess, and because of that I’m not entirely sure who they are based on; welcome to the memory gaps that happen when you get old.

Those are butterflies in the background. In all my decades of commissioning art this is one of only two times an artist agreed to illustrate them in a commission for me.

40k fans are probably raising an eyebrow over the weapons the characters are carrying. This is another instance of “Ask me about that if you meet me in person, and ask me how it relates to the Girls of Steampunk page I have posted.”
