Description

Just a few short movie minutes after my Cap and Black Panther commission from Rafael Pimentel, we have this Felipe Watanabe gem of Thor, Cap and Groot ready to take on all comers in Infinity War.

I wasn�t familiar with Felipe�s work, but I arranged this one on the strength of two AMAZING commissions in K Gearon�s gallery here on CAF. It also didn�t hurt that Felipe was represented by Chiaroscuro Studios. I�ve had nothing but good interactions with them, and I was confident this one would be no different.

Once again, Nicholas at Chiaroscuro was great to work with. Felipe quickly sent back three layouts to choose from, all of which were amazing compositions. However, none were clearly identifiable scenes from the movies. When I asked if Felipe could modify them a bit or take a whack at a new option, Nicholas quickly made it all happen.

What came back were two modified layouts and a new option. This was the new composition and the one I ultimately chose to go with. Much thanks to Felipe for going above and beyond in delivering an action (and character) packed commission, and Nicholas for being one of the best reps in the biz.
