Description

One of my collecting goals for 2023 was a Mark Bagley page from Alias and I actually ended up getting 3 of them this year. This page is from a flashback sequence recounting how Jessica Jones (as Jewel) ended up fighting the Avengers under the influence of Killgrave, the Purple Man. On this page, she's broken free of the mind control, but is now terrified and trying to escape the wraith of Thor.

The art is slightly too big for my scanner, so the top is slightly cropped, but you get the idea.

I really love Art Thibert's inks over Bagley. He was a very compatible inker and the two of them worked together on many issues of Ultimate Spider-Man.

Huge congrats. This is amazing but I am thinking the cropped art is the Hulk sloshed on eggnog. Don't spoil it for me. Just nod in agreement.

Bagley is so good! His way of conveying action and hs storytelling abilities are just phenomenal.

Ah, love this page so much. I've wanted it for years now. That auction just got too high for me to try. I have the next page though, so I'm happy with that at least. Very amazing pick-up! Congrats!
