Lex Luthor by Sean Chen

I don’t find myself getting a lot of commissions. Most of the time I either miss out because I don’t know about the opportunity until it’s too late or I can’t afford it at the time. Fortunately, this wasn’t one of those times. This Sean Chen commission comes courtesy of a Clan McDonald Comics live stream where they hosted Sean. He only took two 9x12 commissions at the time and I was lucky to be one of the winners. No surprise I wanted to see Sean’s take on an armored Lex. I already had three pages of original artwork from Sean’s Salvation Run story by DC but Lex doesn’t appear in his armor for that story. Happy to say that Sean blew away my expectations on this one. I knew I was getting a full body commission. I didn’t know it was coming with a background at all, let alone that detailed. I don’t get commissions often but, fortunately for me, the ones I have gotten have been great.
