Coloring a legend like Neal Adams is something you gotta do respectfully. I really didn't wanna screw it up. The coloring of Wolverine didn't take long. There aren't many colors and it's very straightforward. The blending of the background was time consuming. But I kinda feel it makes the character jump off the page. Or it could be Neal Adams work just pops off the page. I'm very happy with how this came out.

Straightforward comics coloring may be best for Wolverine. You can see the way Continuity Studios has been coloring Adams art and they try to make it look photorealistic, so this is a change of pace that emphasizes the comic book look.
