The practicality of the speed-force on ice (or rollerblades) seems pretty terrible. From ball bearings overheating, or massive gouges in the ice from starts or proper hockey stops...it's all just terrible mechanics. Almost anyone but the Flash would have been better...maybe speed skating? But that's not Summer Olympic either. Ah well. The 90s were a simpler time...
