DescriptionI pick up anything Guera does - from his epic run on Scalped to the Goddamned to his adaptation of Django Unchained. That lead me to his early work on westerns like Elmer Jones and Texas Riders. Though I never got to read them as full stories, I pored over every bit of art I could find.In hindsight, I should've asked for his rendition of Western GR but still love what he did with ole classic right here. The upshot really makes this sing. Nice level of detail without getting bogged down in it.

I feel like there's a lot of power in the looseness of his brush work. You deinitely scored well with this one!

The watercolor works extremely well here, especially the darker tones of rider and his cycle. Very nice!

Guera doesn't like/care much for super heroes so when a commission turns this well, you can tell yourself you scored big.

A powerhouse depiction here - no two ways about it! I love every level of this thing from the lightly washed buildings in the upper left, to that striking, beautifully shaded, purple-red Brooklyn Bridge, down to the Rider himself. The orange is the hero here, and how RM uses it to backlight the skull, pop the fuel tank of the bike, and (my -favorite- touch) cast beautiful, subtle (?), delicious reflections on the spikes of the jacket's left shoulder. Yup - Old West GR would have been a great choice, too, but RM delivered a home run here for you, E! Congrats!

You need to commission him for a Elmer Fudd Ghost Rider on a motorcycle. It's in your mind now. Not getting out. Do it. Do it now.

Love how the building directly behind GR has lines vs the ones to the left without. Cool subtle visual trick adding some contrast, in addition to them being colored differently. Upward perspective was a great choice, and you can tell immediately this is Guera's GR. Congrats, man!

Fantastic commission of Ghost Rider by RM Guera! I love this image of GR racing through city streets with his skull blazing, swinging his chains like he's whipping a horse with its reins! The detail on Ghost Rider is phenomenal--Even the motorcycle is detailed to the max! Love the city buildings in the background. The soaring buidlings really make the scene come to life. Or is that "come to death"? I'm not sure, but congrats on a great pick-up!
