DescriptionThis Chicago Comic-Con jam piece was created for an auction to benefit Literacy Volunteers of Chicago. It features some up and coming artists of the day. I wonder whatever happened to Adam Hughes, for instance? Kidding. I asked him in 2024 about his involvement in this piece, and he thought he had penciled Batman but wasn't sure. Pictured with Batman and Robin are Penguin, Catwoman, Joker, and Silver St. Cloud. The "Bob Kane" signature is a joke; Batman's co-creator famously insisted on receiving explicit credit whenever Batman appeared, and his signature graces many works he did not create. I don't know, Bob Kane should get credit as one of the hardest working artists still turning in work for eBay today next to Schulz.
