DescriptionPosting two OAX pick-ups tonight, from Spider-Man issues #33 and #34. I got to meet and share a lot of friendly conversation with Bob McLeod at his booth. He is a super nice guy!Just love Bob's masterful artistry and storytelling in these two issues. The inking is fantastic! Was especially happy to get this title splash, as I acquired the cover to the issue years ago. I had such a great time at the convention. This was my very first group event since COVID first hit, and I'm still a little gun-shy about the virus, so I wasn't as social as I hope to be next year. I had fun designing a special mask for the event though, which said "PAUL P IS UNDER HERE." Haha! But I was so happy to finally meet face-to-face so many of the friends I've made online through CAF and the hobby in general through the years. Social/Sharing |

Very rare when the title is also a word balloon! Spider-Man and Punisher in the early 90's were crossover heroes across the entire Marvel line. McLeod's composition excels to bring a triangle of tension shared between all three characters.

Cool! Always fun to own both the splash and cover to the same issue! I've been a lifelong fan of Bob's, so it's nice to see you get to meet him, such a nice guy.

Great piece, man! Hard to beat title splashes, let along with Spidey and Frank against a baddie. Baddie seem's pretty happy with himself. I'm sure you yelled "this art is MINE!" with the same fervor :)

Hahaha, This art is MINE! I think I did shout that at the time. How did you know? 😂 Great meeting and hangin' out with you too! Definitely a highlight for me.
