Description

I’ve had my eye on this DPS for a while. I loved the Spider-Island event (peak Dan Slott, imo), and the inset panel where MJ says “I love you” was water in the desert for so many of us that love the Spider marriage. And it really is Peter at his best- scientific know-how paired with his amazing abilities, doing good for everyone in NYC at once. That blend is at the heart of so many of the best ASM stories, and it set the stage for the iconic Superior Spider-Man run. Lucky for me, it stayed reasonable at HA. Enjoy!

Ramos really rounded into form in this storyline. Since everyone has Spider powers, he got to the differences of what made Spider-Man heroic as opposed to monsterous. This DPS is well designed with the big image of Spidey as the glue to the flow of all the small panels for storytelling.

My buddy had this one at one point so I've seen it in person...it's killer. Great DPS with a nice middle splashy shot surrounded by some storytelling. Like the smile, too, on the central Pete's face...little does he know what's comin' :) Congrats!
