Spidey in his black symbiote costume was the corner box illustration for Spectacular Spider-Man after the events of Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars. The corner box was featured from Issue #91 (June-1984) a month after the costume was introduced through #106 (September-1985).

As a BONUS: The image also appears as the corner box to the covers of issues #97 to 100.The 1st appearance of the Spot.The central villain of the Miles Morales trilogy. In the movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider Verse, it is revealed that he indirectly created Spider-Miles, as he brought into being the radioactive spider that bit him.
