VIEW AUCTION LISTING HERE!SOS was a Warren-esque comic magazine, published in Spain by Valenciana 1948-1984, w/four well-differentiated periods, existing first as a humor magazine before transitioning to a horror anthology format. This issue is from the "third stage," which ran for 58 issues. Offered here is the pen and ink original art for complete six-page story titled "The Snow Warrior" from SOS #30, published in Nov. 1981. Story deals w/an archeological expedition to find a mummy frozen in the ice. After fending off a bear attack and killing one of their native guides, the mummy comes to life and kills the selfish archeologist. Art pages are typically 10x14.5" and both text and art are by Alberto Marcet as signed on first page. Inked title/issue number as well as stamped date on right margin of each page. Pages have in penciled pages numbers at top/bottom margins. First page has tape remnants/staining at top/bottom center, but art remains clean and Exc. Comes w/reading copy of the comic this art was created for.
