I am without question a fan of Spugna's cartoon art style. The ability to create something that is unique, wonderfully odd, and imaginative helps remind why Indie comics are a thing to truly appreciate. I sincerely respect if it isn't your cup of tea, but I personally love finding something that is so original.

This is a great two page sequence from Spugna and Marco Taddei's 2021 book, "La Quarta Guerra Mondiale", which translates to "The Fourth World War".

After some extended staring, I think the second panel on page 10 is fantastic. I feel like he does such a good job with facial expression and emotion as the soldier and bird check to see if the coast is clear for their planned attack. We come to find out that the coast is definitely not clear! You can follow the bird's expressions throughout the panels and that is such a nice touch. The sequence ends with an up close and wonderfully illustrated look at the general yelling attack. The next to last panel reads, "Did they expect it? Maybe my watch stopped. Anyways." In the pages to follow there is a battle with a giant man powered robot, and I shall leave it at that!

Nice cartooning all around using the traditional panel layouts for some fearless gross out humor and caricatures.
