The Heroine in the Haunted House!
written by Robert Kanigher

Jor-El he spoke to me
Roz-Em's his name
That voice knows identity
And speaks my name
And do I dream again?
For Zod I find
The Phantom of the Kanigher is there
And writes my lines

Sing once again TV
Our strange tube set
My Linda Danvers proves
Ghosts haunt the rest
Ameswell you turn to me
To glance behind
The Phantom of Schaffenberger is there
Inside drawn lines

Those who have seen your page
Drawn back in fear
Inventor last appears
It's me they hear

Your/my spirit and your/my voice
In art combined
The Phantom of the inventor is there
Inside your/my mind

Phantom Zone criminals just happen to latch onto the frequency of the newly invented television, all the way from the Phantom Zone? That tracks. How to defeat them? The on/off switch! Yup, all the kookiness of a 1970 DC story!

Roz Em is quite a deep cut. He only appeared in one other story, Adventure Comics #304, a Jerry Siegel story in which he dressed up like Superman and menaced Superboy. I'm surprised that Robert Kanigher remembered him well enough to re-use him for this story, in which once again he messes with the hero's brain.
