Descriptionthis one took some time but certainly worth the wait. I think it was about a year between my initial inquiry and the pic arriving at my doorstep here in the states. I had some trepidation about such a purchase and sought out advice from a couple gallery owners (thanks Matt and Eric) on consumer protection and international shipping. alls well when it arrived last may (thanks again Raffaele). im very proud to be posting it today.(copied some of the following with permission from Fabio Cs Frank Cho Nosferatu post :) In 2019, the Association "La Nona Arte" launched a new portfolio project for 2020, titled "Monsters & Beauties" with illustrations by the great Frank Cho. The final pieces would have been in black and white, with (possible) touches of color, which feature the most well-known creatures of the horror world together with procacious beauties typical of Frank Cho's art, then collected in a prestigious limited edition portfolio. Here are the (final) chosen subjects: - The Monster of Frankenstein - The Mummy - The Wife of Frankenstein (x2) - The Phantom of the Opera - The Creature from the Black Lagoon - Nosferatu - Minotaur - King Kong - Chimera - Sirens - Medusa - Dracula - The Hunchback of Notre-Dame artwork is a massive 17.5x27ish Frank was generous with the progress pics. terrific to see all the effort poured into such a collection of monsters. i am not one of the lucky ones who have the printed portfolio but I will keep a lookout no doubt. A great fine art illustration that transcends the subject matter! Frank Cho's artistic traits in its full glory expressing all of this in his own signature style.

Stunning Frank Cho commission with the Creature from the Blackj Lagoon. I love the look of the Creature here, he really looks just like the original monster from the movie! I like the way the swimmer is totally unaware of the monster stalking her (Just like in the movie). And I love the very limited use of color to just the fish swimming by and the lips of the woman swimming. I'd have to say Frank really put this one out of the park! Fantastic pick-up, congrats!
