DescriptionI stayed away as long as I could thinking I was being smart in avoiding jumping on a trendy bandwagon…but the more I saw & the more I thought about it, the pull was too great! The “breaking point” was Manix attending OAX and the availability was right there! I walked away from OAX with not one but two Manix pieces. I’m hooked and thrilled to have gotten out of my own way and embrace this undeniable appeal!This was the 2nd of the two pieces and I opted to go the favorite movies route rather than the superhero route to get something rather unique and allow Manix to explore other areas of pop culture through his art. The art speaks for itself but I truly love how this encapsulates the plot and vibe of that ordinal 1968 film. As others have said, and I can now confirm, the scan doesn’t do this piece Justice (and I think it’s s pretty good scan!) The colors up close and in person are just so incredibly vibrant! The wheels are already turning in regards to what the next request might be… Social/Sharing |

Was just being honest, I'm not usually on the forefront of an artistic movement. No worries though, I saw the error of my ways and had my eyes opened! OAX made me a true believer of Manix & Maxi Dallo. So the takeaway is, if you have an X in your first name, go to OAX and I will buy art from you!

Manix has such a fun, distinctive style that's hard to not appreciate, and his use of colors is amazing as well. Welcome to the bandwagon!
