Description

Back in November (during CAF Live, if I recall), the Next Comic Art crew hosted an X-Men themed art claim show. There were a handful of pieces that I had my eye on, and this pinup of Psylocke by Frany was the one I was most excited about. This was all done in watercolors, and I love everything about it, from the palette (love all the shades of pink and purple) to her pose and all the lighting and energy effects. There was a mad dash to claim this (I fully expected to miss out during my scramble to type in the claim), and I'm ecstatic I was lucky enough to pick this up.

Gorgeous Psylocke pin-up from Justine Frany! What a cool pose Frany drew here, with Psylocke holding her katana high and ready to strike. I love the violet color he used to give the pin-up some additional pop. Psylocke's swaying hair and twisting ribbons add a sense of motion to the drawing. Great pick-up, congrats!
