Description

Grimlock head-butts Decepticon Pretender Octo-Punch as Autobot Micromasters Stakeout and Red Hot finish him off.

This one is a huge deal for me. I told my bud Jason D'Ambrosio for me this was like having a Claremont/Cockrum page from X-men #94.

Simon Furman and Geoff Senior had worked on the UK title before this, but this is Furman's fifth US issue and Senior's first US issue. It's the beginning of something really special in the US run and I'm very happy that I was able to bring this page home. And with Grimlock in robot mode, you might even say it's like Wolverine with Claws Out! ;)

Oh wow, a Geoff Senior page AND it has Grimlock?! So awesome! Geoff is my all-time favorite Transformers artist.

I love how he gets defeated by the old school yard bullies trick of shoving him backward while another bully sticks his foot out so he trips and falls. Who'd have ever thought that Transformers would ever need to resort to such petty human children tricks?!? Awesome!
