Description
Perhaps one of my favorite FF stories in the seventies.Gabriel comes to earth and kicks some major butt on the FF.John Buscema and Joe Sinnott's work on these books was just incredible and I was awe struck at the time it appeared on the spinner rack.

Yes!  Yes!  and Yes!  I remember being disappointed when Jack left the title, and really enjoyed Big John and Joe's work, but not neartly as much as the King's.  Looking at this now, it's first rate.

That's kind of Kirby-esque in the first panel showcasing power like that!  The look in Reed's face matches that tone in the dialogue!

It's a fine page from one of the more memorable stories of Buscema/Sinnott's FF run. Cheers!

Big John and Big Joe threw their best at this so-so story in order to slow the DC momentum of Jack's recent departure.

Again, the opening panel is doing so much work. Buscema is at his artistic best in composing a compelling and dyanmic scene. The exhausted expression on Reed's face at the bottom is wonderful. Sinnott's inks are superb. Stunning page!
