Perhaps a reaction to all the global tension of the times when people got the cynical idea to want to leave it all behind.

It is an intricate blend of 1960s dreams materialised in numeours advertisements and gentlemen magazines. The young women are half-naked, a comtemporary women type, a dancing happy play-toy. The old man emenated style and money. It is the type of reading old-fashioned Playboy magazines in these days. The wringled face and the walking stick are indicators for his age. That he is stylish and has money to spent for leisure is shown by his summerly panama. His dreams about a womenizing youth are symbolized in his hip stylishly colored tie. It is subtle hint, of the content, since usually one would not associate such a tie with an old men, more something brownish with stripes. In 1965, the model might have his raviing youth in the 1910s. The tie ultra-modern tie with its bright color is meant as a contradiction to the old face. While these are quite conventional motifs, the star ship in the background seems out of place. Naturally! It's SiFi and the space age. With the rifles space travel has something military and spy-novelish at that time. It is a wonderful dcument of the fanatsies of the 1960s
