Description

Superb pages by the highly under rated Alberto Ponticelli from 2002's second volume of Marvel Knights featuring a Daredevil, Punisher and Black Widow storyline.

If viewing this, please take a second to go to my gallery and see it side by side with it's successor as it's best viewed as a 2 page sequence (and I'm posting in reverse order so it's in proper order in 'recently added'.

The final 'reveal' of his identity is just superb as he surprises a henchman with the business end of punishment.

Just a beautiful pair that I will display together. I'm seriously enjoying my Ponticelli pieces that have arrived recently.

The storytelling is bonkers! Punisher reveal like he's been the boogeyman all along a la Saw! The faces, masked or not become the focal point of the page with that sense of fear.

Legit gritty goodness! Gotta love that last mostly shadowed panel, and the overall style works perfectly for the Punisher. Congrats!
