That monsters very happy to see him...Wait, its a tentacle, or is the hero suffering from a bad case of tentacle dong?

Wonderful split cover just from the painted colors! So interesting to see that the one tentacle above water is also blue. This might indicate that the blue glow from underwater is from the creature itself. This recreation gets high marks and acclaim for being so faithful in mood and atmosphere.

I think its blue too. Adult blue. Just what is happening in the tentacle human area?

AMAZING! One of the four original gallery paintings done by Sanjulian (the others being the Cobra Queen, Queen of Hearts, and the Ghoul Queen). These were done years ago before numerous recreations were done of many of his works. Many are great...some are good---the original four galleries were, by far, the best! Congrats on this beauty!

Hi Marc - absolutely agree! I don't know or can't remember the exact date these were done. Do you know?
As a fan of the artwork itself I must say that I am even more pleased to display this than the original Warren cover as the quality and size is very impressive. I would also like the cover one day too.

Great example of Sanjulian's mastery of composition, color and light. I love it.
