It makes a lot more sense why he can see this demon when others can not in the published color cover. It may have inspired "They Live" with such a feel of isolation as no one else believes him.

Any comment that makes me remember Roudy Roddy Piper is a winner in my book.
Congrats on acquiring this, Heidjer! I think the cool thing to me is that the main figure doesn't like like Starlin at all, as he used a very loose and noodly style here, almost like some of the Filipino artists inked, like Jess Jodloman, for instance. Really nice and I love how the buildings being all inked in silhouette contrast against the negative space so beautifully and make all the background characters stand out. Great stuff!
