Ming El Implacable

The interior were reprints from the daily Flash Gordon strips from 1940-05-07 to 1940-10-24 which was the the first half of the "Princess Lita" story drawn by Austin Briggs.

This was a recent pick up from the Hake's auction

A very nice cover. I'm so impressed with the quality of the colors, that I'd have believed it if you had titled it as a recent commission.
