Day 05. Thirty-One days of Star Wars (2024 edition) continues!

Happy Cinco de Mando! Fiiiiive gooooold riiiiings, or in this case five pages from Marvel's The Mandalorian adaptation of the Disney+ streaming series.

In this episode/issue, the Mandalorian and the Child head to Nevarro after the previous Mon Calamari repairs to the Razor Crest have proven inadequate. They reunite with Greef Karga and Cara Dune, who have since turned the planet around. Cara has become the local marshal, while Greef has taken on the role of Magistrate. In return for the repairs, Mando agrees to help destroy an old Imperial base on the other side of the planet.

On this page, the Child is placed in a school for safekeeping while the trio heads off to conduct their sabotage. The Child uses the Force to steal blue macaron treats from another student. Separated by more than just one O, macarons and macaroons may have similar sounding names, but these two cookies couldn't be more different when it comes to taste and technique. And Grogu knows it!

This is Steven's penciled board, Wayne inked over blue line on a separate board.

I'm so confused. Didn't you recently tell me that you didn't have any Mandalorian pages? Then you go ahead and drop six or so insane examples...on the same day!

I don't have any of the inked boards by Wayne Faucher. He hasn't broken up any of the books he worked on. Steve has offered up his penciled pages though, and he was great to deal with.
