Buster "Tom Thug" Comic Art (Lew Stringer)

Very nice how Stringer closes up all the panels as if to close the door on 1994.  It allows that color background to wrap around the humor and make the whole piece festive when connected to the new year's greeting!

Good observation Marcus. What a guy!  Now thinking about it, the two-tone snowy sky, which looks gorgeous by the way Lew, does remind me of the transition between dusk & dawn. And I supose you can intepret it also as the passing of an old year and its rebirth. Man, my head hurts. To be a guru is a burden sometimes, as you know.  We are truly remarkable. : )
