Outstanding page by the master, that first panel is pure gold! Is there any way to prevent it from completely disappearing over the years?

Davide, unfortunately there´s not any way but keep it in darkness... Or restore it inking over the markers...

Maybe the best panel page of the comic. Congratulations

As the original owner of this page (my Buddy Brian and I bought 5 pages from Jim back in the 80's) I have to say these pages have held up very well and the inks really haven't faded as we all feared they would. This is a great page!

The Death of Captain Marvel is one of Marvel's Milestones. To me this GN means the best and the worst in Jim Starlin's career. The best because each page of that GN is a GEM. The story, the script, the art and the drama behind... that Opera has everything! The worst because the pages fade...! It is very sad to me to see how that cosmic beauty fades... however I find it almost poetic. It is a kind of metaphora like the slow death of the heroe... ANYWAY, your page is extraordinary it's like an extraordinary catalogue of relevant characters from that GN. Huge congrats.

Truly Marvelous....
maybe Jim would re-ink it, or a Blueline version, for displaying?
