DescriptionSince Mike has a new 99 drop today, I figured I'd post this one.It came about somewhat organically. He had a fun Lockjaw piece that made me think about him doing a pissed off little Lockheed. When he was doing one of the history pieces for me, he asked about incorporating Warlock, but I opted against it since he wasn't in the title yet. So this is kind of an homage to their first meeting in New Mutants 21, where Warlock is hungry and Lockheed is all 'nah, f* that'. 11x17. Heroes 2023. Social/Sharing |

One of the best of the drop because it incorporates not only the colors everyone loves from a McKone piece, but also the pure cartooning artistry and playful dynamic of these two.

Great Warlock piece, like the homage to NM #21, Lockheed steals the show on this one. I hope to see more of him in your collection.

As always, a nice McKone drawing but I think I'm at the point where I'm always even more impressed by his colors!
