Outstanding! You just can't go wrong with any of these McKone color pieces.
It is not as colorful as his other designs, but Elric is plenty strong already with the armor design. The background tone even is added for a look of legends and adventure as dark clouds bring fantasy atmosphere.

Epic illustration of Michael Moorcock's greatest hero, Elric of Melniboné. Drawn in ink and watercolor by the uber-talented Mike McKone! I love how Mike painted the background in watercolor, then drew Elric in black ink and used screen tones on Elric's armor to give the drawing added depth. The finished effect is very striking. Fantastic pick-up, congrats!
