Kirby's action staging is so clear. Every panel has a snap to it.

Serious freakin' action page!  That is awesome.  When it REALLY pays to be Superman's pal!!

Four panels of Kirby power!  So wild and more Thor like thrills than anything DC had at the time.

The four panel page leaves space for both action and big faces. Kirby leaped into the Comics Code revision that finally permitted Universal Movies monsters like werewolves, vampires, and mummies.

Ah, yes, Kirby tastiness with altered faces!  I remember loving these when I was a young collector/reader, and thought it a bit weird that the faces were altered, but it didn't really bother me.

A tremendous page for Vince.  He captures the essence of the King and all the power while choosing the best lines to ink.  Just superb !!
