Description

Back when DC was dialing up the promotional phase for the “New52” redesigns for various characters were made public. Supergirl was one of these. Can’t say I was initially taken by the “Spacegirl” look. But the direction they took the stories and Mahmud Asrar’s superlative art eventually won me over. Couldn’t reach Mahmud in time to secure a desired page; fortuitously, Dyego (who signs his work "DY Jack) was able to provide this drawing as a substitute!

All the best features of Supergirl are still there in the redesign and making her look good wasn't going to be a problem for pin up art talents like Dyego Jackson!
