DescriptionEnid Balam is definitely someone on my Artist's To Watch list.This was a super pick-up from ComicLink. I love that they do 30-day auctions. For being an auction house, their 3% Buyer's Premium is negligible compared to Heritage's 20-25% BP. They're easy to get ahold of as well, be it e-mail or by telephone. My birthday is April 10th. I usually always buy myself some sort of gift. I guess I'm turning it into an annual tradition to participate in the April ComicLink OA auctions! This makes 2 years in a row. Of the 5 pieces I copped, this was the one I really had my eyes on! Thank you Joe (Comix Art Connect) for letting this piece go. I first noticed Enid's work when I randomly purchased a Venom Bust Commission by him in February this year. I've fervently followed him since! I'm looking forward to watching his career continue to grow at Marvel. If you can't tell, Humberto Ramos is a big influence on Enid Balam. They're both from Mexico. Him and I have spoke multiple times on social media. After I got this Venom On Rooftop piece, I messaged him for more info on it. He told me he did it back in 2022. It also got turned into an Art Print which he sold at Conventions. Now all I need is a Spidey from him! Social/Sharing |

Really cool with the outsized disfigured proportions to make us realize Venom is a similar to body horror movies. Pipes and bricks below make him look even more solid and harder!
