Firestar by Mary Wilshire & Bob Wiacek

Angelica Jones aka Firestar, like Harley Quinn, is another character who made their debut on an animated TV programme. After transitioning to comics within the pages of Uncanny X-Men #193 (May 1985) she was given her own 4-issue mini-series, which defined her in-continuity origin and powerset. Her character arc would see her through from being a shy, introverted girl to a confident young woman, and becoming a fan favourite along the way. This art was produced by Mary and Bob as a promotional piece for the mini-series.
