Kit Carson story

This was a nostalgic pick up for me. As young boy I read many of these British digest including Kit Carson stories.

As can be seen the art was cut by the publisher for the final cover. The cut has been taped back to the board and I will investigate if it can be restored to what the artist originally presented or whether to mat out the top section when I frame it.

There's a great American hero, we all look up to
When the time’s for art and it’s Kit Carson
He knows just what to do
Now a cowboy's got a set of rules Jordi lives by paint to paint
If you ask for art advice, he'll more investigate

If there’s a chance, buy it, British dollar bills, spend it
Before it burns a hole down in them dreams
If it's a colt, buck it, if it's a punch, duck it
If she's a horsey, treat her like a queen

Are there many other things more majestic and beautiful than white horses? Gorgeous creatures, in any color! Great, realistic looking scene by Penalva, who is a famed book cover illustrator and really fantastic.
