I'm broke but with Pat Lee
I'm poor with this find
Armstrong with the inky, yeah
Ink lines of the comics
Insane and Grim’s overwhelmed
I'm shot but I'm hopeful, baby
And what it all comes down to
Is that everything's gonna be fine, fine, fine
'Cause I'm shot one time from a rocket
And then Ultra Magnus’ giving a high five
Nice action! I'm confused though. I thought "Generation One" simply referred to the Marvel series?
Generation 1 usually refers to all the toys released from 1984-1991. Basically anything prior to Generation 2.
Even though Dreamwave was released in 2002, the mini-series are known as Generation 1 b/c they were a revival of that original Generation One line of characters.
This is while Dreamwave was simultaneously publishing Transformers Armada (a completely different toyline/universe/tv show/comic), so it helped to distinguish between the branding that came following G1 and post G2. (ex: Beast Wars, Beast Machines, RID, Armada, then Energon, Cybertron, etc)
Ah, see I am always thinking in terms of the comics, but the terminology refers to the toys, which is where my confusion starts. Thanks as always for your excellent scholarship!
