DescriptionOne of the things that Wolfman and Perez did best, and which made New Teen Titans one of the best titles at DC at the time, was give us these non-hero moments that would open windows into how the characters were feeling, their frustrations and joys, etc.Following their outer space adventures, Marv and George really started laying the groundwork for Dick's transformation away from (Batman &) Robin to his own new hero (Nightwing), and on this page we see how his preoccupation with his work impacted his private life and relationship with Kory. Yup, just like Claremont on X-Men with Byrne, Wolfman and Pérez really did a fantastic job of making readers fall in love with these characters by giving us a window into what makes them tick as actual people, rather than always focusing on the superheroics. Great page!

Very attractive Perez page with Starfire and a sexy topless Dick! Less than a year since she was heartbroken by the HIVE agent, getting together with a lover that's so obsessed with anything besides her makes you feel bad for Kori. Key issue as Terra is about to join the team.

I have nothing mature to say about this page - ok, nice page!

While I will always side with Marvel over DC, I have to concede that NTT was porbably the best work by Perez. Great "quiet" page, full of characterization and storytelling.

Another stunning Titans page for your collection; Congrats, Michael. And I couldn't agree with you more. Wolfman and Perez infused the Taitans with real lives and real personalities. It's the reason why A Day in the Lives (#8) and Who is Donna Troy? (#38) are among the most popular issues in the series.
