Legs Weaver #77 (2002) pages 87 and 89: The indoor flood

The bad guys have stolen the only bathyscape and smashed the windows on the submerged hotel. It's rapidly filling up with water, with our heroes still inside:

“May, I don't understand why you silenced me like that! If we had told Shon that your Alfa Agency already had proof of everything, maybe he would have given up.”

“You think so? He would have killed us instantly and then escaped! Think about it. Anyone would prefer to try their luck and perhaps live on the run, rather than throw in the towel and face justice immediately!”

“May is right, Sara!”

“Yes, now I understand. But what do we do now? We will die anyway!”

“No! If we can get up the elevator shaft and past the floors Shon wants to flood, we have a chance of survival, and I don't intend to give up! Come on, let's go! It will take them a few minutes to leave the hotel and find the damaged windows. And those minutes are our only hope!”

“Listen to that noise... the water is coming!”
