Excellent Joker image by one of the modern greats
Bad @$$! And slightly scary.
Samnee's Joker smiles with a rose on the grey
Ooh, the more inking of you, the offset it feels, yeah
And now that Marcus' rose is in bloom
Scanner light hits the gloom on the grey
sick limited edition print numbered 29/31. So cool to get a high number. Whoa!
Love how u put the pic crooked too....great piece, congrats Marcus
This looks like a snapshot of a photographer secretly following the joker. Only to lose him in a dark alley.then to the photographers dismay, turn around and find the joker behind him.he falls to the ground and manages to get a photo.(the last he will ever take.) Of the joker moving in for the kill.
It's darker than many of his other pieces, but that is only fitting for the subject. The light in this piece is there for one purpose and that is to illuminate that crooked smile.
Awkward..and it fits!
Samnee captures the insanity quite nicely!
Yup, that's one scary, maniacal Joker. Love it!
Not creepy at all. Nope. No sir. Lights are staying on tonight just cause I gonna fall asleep reading.
Pearly whites...
Nice play on the Crooked prompt! Samnee has always put out great work and this is no exceptions. The rich, copious amount of India ink is so absolutely delicious, it makes you want to drink it all in!
impressionnant joker - congrats !!!
I didn't know this artist, but is a disturbing joker. Very good
Brilliant. The choice of darkening one eye makes for such a creepy and efficient representation.
Captures the dark essence of Batman's nemesis!
The villain of any villain superbly rendered!!!
Smile a little wider! Suck ALL the light out of existence.
Samnee's Batober pieces are usually more wholesome. That makes the piece even more striking to me.
Beautifully done!
Dark and omonious. Nice!!
sweet Joker piece. The subtle differences (and color work) in each eye really tops it off
A haunting image of the Joker. Very nice! Congrats!
Samnee just gets better ann better.
"Love that Joker " !
I love all the darkness that Samnee creates in this one unlike so many of his other drawings, which are so bright and focused lines. He really adds a lot of ink to this. A very nice grab.
Creepy and I dig it!!
Samnee hits it out of the park again; Congrats!
Mad wickedness personified. Masterful work with the gray tones!
un joker autentico
THIS IS SOO GREAT!! CREEPY COOL!! "LOVE THAT JOKER!"
Remember at Halloween when we were kids and we'd hold a flashlight under our chins to make ourselves look scarier? The lighting on this illustration by Chris Samnee reminds me of that. The light from below makes the Joker look even more frightening--If that's even possible. Fastastic illustration by Chris Samnee of a character who's been drawn by just about every great comic book artist ever. Still, Samnee's lighting trick does make it seem like a fresh take on a very old villain.
So dark
So Good
Congrats - love this!

A smile a day brings happiness your way! Just ask Mr. J here. If that's what A smile does, imagine a constant grin?!?! Dig lots here how he's mostly shadowed...them beady eyes. Congats, man!
