DescriptionHe's baaaaaaack! That little demon from Limbo who bonded with a symbiote to become the affable & goofy Bizarro version of Spider-Man we know and love as ...REK-RAP! Tonight I'm posting two more (sequential) pages from the second issue of his three-issue story arc, drawn by the fantastic artistic team of Ed McGuinness and Mark Farmer. On this page, Spidey tells Rek-Rap to give up his detective work and go home, then webs away, causing poor Rappy to burst into tears. But then out of the shadows appears .... RE-PO! (I'm not going to get into the whole Re-Po thing ... I recommend reading ASM vol 6 36-38 though. Really fun story. Sufficeth to say, I looooove that last panel!) Social/Sharing |

First panel - constipation.
Second panel - Spider-man "I'm getting out of here"
Third panel - crying.
Fourth panel - surprise, shock.
Fifth panel - Poopers.

Give that demon symbiote an Oscar! His range of emotion is impressive!

Damn, you don't want this team up to end this way. Masterful work by McGuinness and Farmer to get so much sadness out of Rek-Rap's childlike response.

Never fear! Spidey and Rek-Rap's team-up has a long way to go (another entire issue!). Their adventures are just beginning, and Spidey might even learn a thing or two.

Wow, killer Rek-Rap half-splash! I also love the great way McGuinness handled the emotions on the head shots. A superb example of superhero cartooning at its finest!

At this rate, McGuinness' Rek-Rap pages might as well be commissions he's doing for you! Another great addition!

Who says you can't do expressions with Spidey's mask?! :) Yet another fun add featuring this dude, Paul, congrats!
