Description

Done in pencil, ink, and color marker on a sheet of 11" x 14" bristol board. There is an additional illustration done in pencil and ink on the reverse.

Mike Machlan was a longtime DC and Marvel comic artist who tragically passed away in April, 2023. Most of Mike's well-known work was produced in the 1980's on such titles as All-Star Squadron and Infinity Inc for DC Comics and Amazing Spider-Man for Marvel Comics. Mike had health issues in the 1990's that forced him to give up drawing comics for a living, but he loved to draw and produced many quality pieces for his own enjoyment in the years prior to his passing. Mike's widow reached out to me, through a mutual friend, and asked me to sell some of Mike's drawings to help her cover expenses. Please know that 100 percent of all sales of this illustration will go to Mike's widow.
