DescriptionI saw all these gorgeous little scenes on Instagram from a painter named Robert Watts beginning a couple of years ago. I always meant to pick one up, well I finally did!Indy depicted here, running off with some treasure (for the museum obv) in gouache and casein on linen board. Social/Sharing |

thats a really nice painting. the somewhat muted colors in those mediums blending together work perfectly, like you're looking at a really old photo. the sense of an Indy adventure is strong. good one!

Very nice scene, love the point of view as well as the surroundings. Hopefully his gun is loaded this time, looks like he may need it!

Yes, the iconic Indy crouch with the wide haunch stance and gun out! His alerted state shows that even an experienced adventurer has to be careful when visiting idyllic locales like Lake Como.
