DescriptionA great cover from the end of the first Thunderbolts run by the super talented team of Mark Bagley and Drew Hennessy. There were just two more issues (173 & 174) before rebooting with volume 2 #1 about six months later.How I love these kinds of images with one big cast of characters vs another big cast of characters. It's ON, like Donkey KONG! In this case it's the Thunderbolts (Citizen V, Meteorite, Songbird, Techno, Mach-1 and Atlas) vs the Thunderbolts (Moonstone, Satana, Ghost, Mr Hyde, Fixer, Centurius, Boomerang and Troll)! Gosh, was I still buying comics in 2012? Was trying to figure out if I knew or recognized any of these characters. Then I saw your list. I know Boomerang and Satana, I think that's it. LOL! Anyway, agree with you about these battle royal covers. There have been some classic ones throughout Marvel history. Now you can add this to that prestigious list.
