Dawnstar by Gene Gonzales

Gene has the ability to draw any Legionnaire in any look and make them look absolutely fantastic! I mailed Gene a Legion of Super-Heroes blank sketch cover and asked him for his take on Ryan Sook's Dawnstar design. Gene sent me two different poses to choose from, and just a few hours after I sent him my choice, he e-mailed�me a scan of the finished piece! Gene's choice to use a different�colored ink for Dawnstar's�wings and star emblems was genius and really makes this commission pop! Big thanks, as usual, to Gene for his awesome work!

Great costume design that showcases more of the Native American cultural heritage of Dawnstar! The use of green signifies those designs as glowing.
