"The one that got away..."

I saw this page on Dueling Dealers, before the show took on the NC-17 XXX rating, and was planning on trying to make an offer, when the infamous Gabe Carino swept in for the win. I was happy for him and made my peace with it.

Fast forward some months later...it appeared again on the channel and I had to nab it. I can't believe it's mine now...Oh wait...maybe this is a PHOTOCOPY!!! ;)

Thanks again, Bill and Anthony...and of course, THE INFAMOUS GABE CARINO.

Fabulous page from Rbin #92 by Manuel Garcia and Andrew Pepoy. I love the whole page, but clearly the killer panel is that central image of the Batmobile! Garcia did a marvelous job of recreating the classic Batmobile design from the early comics, with the massive Bat-head on the front end. Lovely inks by Pepoy help pull the whole page together and make the the art a joy to look at. Batastic pick-up, congrats!

Second chances at one of a kind pieces are rare - congrats on locking this down! I love batmobile images and this page is awesome in that regard. Thanks for sharing!

Nice top to bottom storytelling especially with Batmobile perspective flip from panels 2 to 5. Some deep Pepoy ink, too - must look at much nice in person. Congrats!
