Venom : Along Came A Spider #3 Cover (1996)
My favorite cover from the series with a rather grim and ghostly Venom hovering an unsuspecting Ben Reilly Spider-man. The inks on this piece are so intense and dark. Great work by Joe!

You can't really tell where Venom ends with just hints left by St. Pierre while blending into the inky dark negative space!

I just looked up the published cover... Marvel had some bad coloring choices in the 90's. This is infinitely better in b&w. Great stuff!
