DescriptionMASH, Klute, The Dirty Dozen, Ordinary People, A Dry White Season, Disclosure, I could go on and on. A 70-year career and almost 200 films. Donald Sutherland’s impact as an actor just cannot be overstated. And up until today, I would have called him one our greatest living actors. His loss, as with all great artists, is sad and painful. But what a lasting legacy of incredible performances he leaves behind. I was going to close this by suggesting you all pick your favorite of his movies to watch tonight, but instead let me pose something in the form of a Jeopardy answer. One of the greatest actors who never received an Academy Award nomination. Question, who is Donald McNichol Sutherland. Condolences to his family and may he rest in peace.Social/Sharing |

Loved him in A Time to Kill and the remake of The Italian Job. Will probably watch one of those tonight, if not both.
