Giant-Sized Fantastic Four #1 (2024)

Stingray teams up with the Fantastic Four to deal with an ancient Atlantean threat! My first piece of published art featuring Stingray!

I love the shadows where the eyes are on Stingray's mask in the two panels on the bottom right, letting you know that Walt is ready for trouble.

Is there a preference if Stingray has a more mysterious face shield look or show more facial features? This page has both and Creees pours some anger into Stingray for a show to Namor.

I think it's interesting when artists find ways to make masked faces emotive and seeing Stingray get a little fiesty here was cool.

Also, I can see why you would assume that's Namor given their history, and that guy looks a lot like him, but he's actually an ancient Atlantean that Walt and Reed freed from the depths named Natlus. I believe he was created for this story.

Really cool page you have! Too bad I couldn't buy more pages of this issue today at NYC comic con 2024 where I met Creees!
