One of the all-time great comic strips, perhaps the only modern comic strip that made me laugh out loud, original rejected by the Tribune Syndicate editor. Paul Burke told me that he and Joe tried to explain to the editor, unsucessfuly, that the "F" stood for "Farewell" no "F@CK. Paul thinks it may have been published in one of Joe's other strips at a later date, but I haven't found any evidence of that yet.
